New York Math Professor Discovers Novel Approach To Help Students Get Perfect Score In SAT Math
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 13, 2012
Could getting a perfect 800 in SAT math be as simple as learning to count? A Hofstra University Professor says it is even easier… if you know the right strategies.
“A common misconception that many students have is that you need to be an exceptional math student to perform well in SAT math,” says Warner, author of The 32 Most Effective SAT Math Strategies (available on Amazon). “You don’t – to get an 800 you just need to know the right strategies.”
By strategies, Warner means methods to getting the answers to SAT math problems in ways that are different from the way you were taught in school. Some of these strategies will save students time, some will keep them from making “careless” errors, and some will get them the correct answer even when they don't quite understand the question.
Warner brings 10 plus years of SAT tutoring experience and over this time he claims that these strategies can be easily understood and implemented by anyone. (To learn more about Dr. Warner's strategies, click HERE.)
The book contains both basic and advanced strategies together with over 100 SAT math problems showing exactly how to implement these strategies properly.
In addition, the same problems are solved using more sophisticated methods for advanced students that wish to obtain a deeper understanding of the underlying mathematics. Warner has a Ph.D. in Mathematics and claims that these strategies work for any student - even those students that have little to no confidence in their mathematical ability.
Warner comments “I used to teach SAT students how to solve math problems using proper techniques so that they could develop their understanding of mathematics, but students that take the SAT do not necessarily want a deep understanding of mathematics - they just want a great score on the SAT so that they can get into that Ivy League College.”
Chris Greg from San Francisco, California said “Initially when practicing, I used to score in the mid-high 400s. But after using this book I scored 760 in SAT math on the actual exam.”
