The web is a great place for students to learn more about math online. There are a wide range of websites dedicated to providing lessons, games, problem solvers, and other resources that provide math practice. Here are ten sites to explore in your spare time.

Mangahigh - Mangahigh is designed for schools and classrooms but is also open to individual students and families. Users who sign up for a free membership can play math games and compete in an international math league.

Webmath - Webmath is a math help website that generates answers to math questions. The site can also help visitors solve difficult math problems.

Ask Dr. Math - This free online help service provides answers to frequently asked math questions. Users who can't find the answer to their question can write to Dr. Math.

Figure This! - Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Education, Figure This! provides math challenges for middle school students who want to practice math at home. Challenges are available in English and Spanish.

Math-Play.com - Math-Play.com provides a wide range of math games that can be played online. Games are categorized by subject, difficulty level, and grade level.
