Report: Vedic Maths Fair

Vedic Maths is increasingly becoming popular. 2012 was the National Year of Mathematics in India and as part of the  celebrations, a Math fair was organized in Dharwad ( In Karnataka State) by Kursh Gyan Foundation.

Kursh Gyan Foundation, Dharwad is an organization driven with an exclusive motive to promote Vedic Mathematics among the student community. As a part of its regular annual events to promote Vedic Mathematics, a “Math Fair” was conducted under the auspices of the Dept of Public Instruction, Dharwad.
 
A session on Vedic Mathematics was arranged for the aspirants of various civil services examinations. The Resource Person was Prof. V.G Unkalkar, noted Author and Vedic Math Expert.  The session emphasized on how Vedic Mathematics can help the aspirants in getting through the Quantitative Aptitude Tests conducted for various employments in the State and Central Governments, Banking and Finance Industry and various Private Sector Undertakings.
