Having previously set up my http://mrcollinsreflectivejournal.blogspot.com blog for my GTP year I have decided to continue blogging and here is my new NQT blog!
I have got so much out of doing my initial 'reflective journal' blog that I thought it would be a shame to suddenly stop this just because I am now a qualified teacher. After all, in order for me to continue to have success in the classroom I will need to continue to be a reflective practitioner.
My blog has also proven to be fairly popular with other teachers and I have gained a lot from their suggestions on my blog and the advice that has come with it. I also have found it rewarding sharing my ideas and resources with a wider community and feel there is no reason why this should stop!
So, if you have any suggestions as to how I may develop my blog posts or if there is anything I should perhaps do differently with my NQT blog then please do feel free to get in touch either by commenting on any of my posts or on my Twitter account (@mrprcollins).
